Wenceslao Martínez

Physiotherapist and Osteopath DO

I graduated in 2017 from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Elche with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Since then, I have worked in different clinics, treating patients with a wide range of conditions. I also had the opportunity to work as the physiotherapist for a football team in my hometown, an experience that significantly shaped my professional development.

I am passionate about my profession and about the human body. I love what I do because the human body is so complex that it never ceases to amaze me with its ability to adapt to each person’s individual needs.

In my treatments, I combine physiotherapy and osteopathic techniques, adapting each approach to the specific needs of every patient. I use soft tissue techniques, fascial techniques, joint mobilisations and manipulations, visceral and cranial techniques, stretching, and invasive techniques such as dry needling and neuromodulation.

I strongly believe that continuous education is the foundation of providing the highest standard of care. For this reason, I have completed several advanced courses in dry needling and neuromodulation, as well as a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy at the EOM (School of Osteopathy of Madrid), where I earned the title of DO Osteopath.

Sport has always been an important part of my life. I have practised disciplines such as tennis, triathlon, weightlifting and surfing, which have given me a deep understanding of movement and the way the human body functions. My experience as the physiotherapist for a football team also allowed me to develop an important role as a sports rehabilitation specialist, knowledge that I continue to apply with my more athletic patients.

Thanks to this stage of my professional career, I came to understand the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork and of maintaining strong communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.

Javier Peña

Osteopath (D.O.) specialising in comprehensive and personalised patient care

I am a registered osteopath (D.O.), with postgraduate training in Paediatric and Neonatal Osteopathy, Psychobiological Osteopathy (CST), Integrative Osteopathy and Sports Osteopathy. I also hold a Higher National Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, with postgraduate training in Diagnostic Ultrasound – a combination that gives me a broader and more precise understanding of how the human body functions.

My passion for osteopathy began when I was very young. Whilst studying Advanced Chiromassage, I had the opportunity to witness a structural osteopathic treatment being carried out on a fellow student. That moment sparked a huge curiosity in me and set the course for the path I wanted to follow. Years later, I began my training as an osteopath and, since then, I have never stopped learning. Continuing professional development is central to my approach to this profession, because I believe that every new insight translates into better care for my patients.

I see osteopathy as a way of understanding health holistically. Every person who comes into the practice is unique, with their own history, circumstances and symptoms. They also arrive with doubts, uncertainty and even the fear of not finding a solution. That is why my aim is for every patient to feel listened to, understood and cared for as an individual.

I am not content merely to relieve a symptom; my aim is to identify the root cause of the problem wherever possible and to support each person through their recovery process. I firmly believe that treatment begins with listening, continues with understanding and is completed by offering personalised care based on evidence, clinical experience and respect for each patient.

Because, for me, osteopathy is not just about treating pain, but about helping people regain their wellbeing and improve their quality of life.

Maider Sabatell

Acupuncturist and Specialist in Chinese Medicine

I am an acupuncturist and a specialist in Traditional Chinese Medicine. My career as a therapist began in 2007, when I qualified as a Massage Therapist. Later, in 2010, I expanded my training by qualifying in Foot Reflexology.

In 2016, I decided to embark on a five-year programme of higher education in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a discipline I am passionate about that has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of an integrative approach to health. I see the body as a whole, where everything is connected: emotions can manifest themselves physically, and physical imbalances can also affect our emotional well-being.

I am passionate about my profession. I enjoy supporting each person throughout their recovery and wellness journey, and I embrace every new challenge as an opportunity to continue learning and growing.

One of the aspects I enjoy most about my work is treating such a wide variety of people, getting to know their stories, understanding what they are going through at that moment in their lives, and helping them regain the balance that their bodies, whether consciously or unconsciously, long to restore.

“I love talking, especially with older people. They have a special place in my heart. I find their life stories and resilience truly fascinating, and I also love how honest they are.”

Always looking for new techniques to relieve pain, in 2024 I trained in Richard Tan’s Distal Acupuncture, also known as the Balance Method. This system treats pain by stimulating points far away from the affected area, using the relationships between meridians to produce rapid and measurable relief. In simple terms, the needles are not inserted where the pain is, but rather in the arms or legs, following a highly precise therapeutic logic.

In 2026, I continued my training in Tung Acupuncture, a fast, highly effective and very clinical system, ideal for treating musculoskeletal pain and internal disorders. It works by viewing the body as a holographic map, where stimulating a small point can create a significant therapeutic effect.

Acupuncture helps us find support, let go, and restore balance. That is why, if you are going through grief, physical pain, stress, or imbalances in your body’s systems, it is beneficial to begin treatment as early as possible. Early intervention can help prevent these issues from becoming chronic and start releasing the internal blockages that may be affecting your well-being.

Maider never stops taking care of herself, not only through acupuncture but also through many other therapies. “I am particularly interested in Biodecoding, Biodynamic Osteopathy, and massage therapy, especially head and foot massages.”

JOSE LAURERO

Professional massage therapist specialising in sports massage, muscle relaxation and anti-stress techniques

My name is Jose, and I’m passionate about health and wellbeing. My passion for massage dates back to when I was very young.

For several years I competed in cycling, and it was during that time that I began to understand the importance of massage for performance, recovery and looking after the body.

When I was competing, massages were part of my weekly routine. They helped me perform better, prevent injuries and get to know my body. Without realising it, that’s when my interest in this profession began to grow; my dream was to devote myself to something I was truly passionate about. Over time, I realised that the world of massage was where everything fell into place.

Before taking the definitive leap, I undertook several massage courses and training programmes, which allowed me to gradually gain experience, technical skills and confidence in manual therapy.

In 2024–2025, I completed a Master’s in Chiromassage and Entrepreneurship, a course that marked a turning point for me, both professionally and personally.

I specialise in sports massage and anti-stress techniques, which allows me to tailor each massage to the client’s needs: muscle release, relief from discomfort, sports recovery or deep relaxation.

As a professional massage therapist, I help people suffering from muscle strain, stiffness, stress or pain, always taking a personalised, safe and mindful approach.

For me, massage is not just about technique, it’s about listening, experience and caring for the body.

My greatest strength is relieving tension in your muscles whilst helping you experience a sense of relaxation and well-being.
